This is for any one that has found themselves in the long wait for Soicial Security. Any one that has gone through this process or is in the middle of it. Venting is allowed.
I am now at this stage after being denied in the first three stage of SSD. Yes, I had an attorney before the ALJ who approval rate is around 25 % or so. My attorney thought that I did well at the hearing. But the judge gave no indication which way he could decide. Thankfully he was respectful to me.
I know that it takes about a year on average for the whole process before any my attorney and me hear anything.
IF the appeal council remand it back to the ALJ who heard my case, would the ALJ likely hold it against me even when I have an attorney?
I hope not. I try to stay positive in life in spite of my disabilities. I succeed most of the time.

My attorney doesn't feel any further appeal will be successful.
I am considering starting all over again......maybe this time, I will get a better judge in the 3rd stage.
