actually the picture that is of the couple dancing was taken in the park at the concert that was held about two years ago I think....I had meetup group of singles that I organized back then and invited everyone to come to that concert....two of them got up to dance and I snapped a pic of them which I decided to use here as the cover shot for this group....so maybe I can find a dance partner tonight huh? LOL :0)

I put my canopy up the trouble is to open the containing bag the zipper was on bottom by the wheels. I flipped it over and dropped it on my right big toe tearing skin at the base of toe nail. Bled badly. One neighbor came to my rescue bringing bottled water and napkins to clean it up. I had tiny bandaid in wallet. It stopped bleeding but started again. So police were standing near me and I walked over to ask if there was first aid station. They went to food vendors booth got three bandaids for me. :-)

it really bled but has stopped and I came home after concert and stuck foot into tub to wash it clean then dry it and put new bandaid on it with some of the stuff the hospitals use that sticks to itself but not to skin...wrapped that around the bandaid and all is well now....

That is a really good picture Bill!! I think it really captures something. It's just real people, enjoying themselves. Refreshing.

found tonight that two couples came out to meet me....one is neighbor I know across street and down few houses....we are friendly with each other....he had his baby with him 10mn old girl named Charlie and wife named Lisa....the other couple is sort of new to the area in they have just lived here a year....they were interesting as I talked more to the wife....she has quite a story about their moving around and stuff...they lived in Mexico two years....they have moved around a lot....her husband is a website designer I think is what she was telling me....he does coding on computers and works from home....they live on nicer street than mine is....and it is probably a nicer house too.....anyway we talked about drinking and my 22yrs sobriety...she told of how they have used drugs in past and since they were both drinking and ciggs smoking while we sat I know they are type of couple that is nice but the idea of becoming big friends is out....but they were nice...her husband helped me with my toe....which was extra nice...my toe really is screwed up and bled badly tonight....

anyway chances are other people will also want to meet there at the park during the free concerts....I enjoyed being there people watching....and pet watching too! Doggies everywhere....LOL :0)

Bill, it's so wonderful that you know what to do to protect your sobriety. Keeping to it even if it means giving up a new friendship is truly amazing on your part. Good for you
