I have a wonderful weekend planned for next Saturday, August 25th. A friend and I and her 12-year-old son are going to Plainville, CT for a Hot Air Balloon Festival. They will have not only two launching of balloons a day but on the 25th they will have Antique Cars and Batman there. Plus good food. Then on Sept 30th in Southington, CT there is the 50th Apple Festival parade and she and her son and 7-year-old daughter will come on Sunday for the annual parade... and good food. I do believe just because I am getting older and single I can still have fun. I go dancing whenever I can (a friend is a drummer for a local group). Hope everyone goes out with friends and has some fun.

My friend invited me out for lunch at this nice, clean sit-in place, where I got to order a salad of my choice with two chicken toppings out of a wall-mounted variety. DS, I just have to say that if I did not love my friends here on DS I would be gone in a heart beat! I am at my wits end of losing posts! It seems like the Gateway thing seems to be a you problem. How can we fix it? I always make sure that I am online and signed in before I hit send.Welcoming any suggestions other than the ones that I recieved before.
When I drank and had only FM radio in car (no Sirius/XM)
A certian Mexican restaurant/bar accross river in Illinois had radio station I loved have an event with hot air balloons that we could go up in the parkinglot in a balloon.
I went like the good drunk I was to get ride up in hot air balloon.
It was windy but they let few of us go up in balloons before they thought it too windy to continue. Guess I got lucky as I got up in balloon for few minutes. They are cramped places. We went maybe 25 ft up into air but wind was pulling us sideways. Then when I got on ground I went into restaurant ate and drank. Thats my story and Im sticking to it
