I went on a fishing date with my Dad yesterday for the first time in two years. It felt great. I even caught one and he caught 3. I wanted to catch more but one was better than none and going for a boat ride was great. I even saw a waterfall. I had a great day. I was so tired last night after so much fresh air, but I wish I was back on the water. It was so warm. I could have gone for a swim. I dipped my feet in. I might do my boating licence once I get a book to really study. Oceans class was my favourite in high school!

I am a die hard boat fan...I love water and my family had a small aluminum fishing boat that was my Mom's Dad's boat....it is still owned by now my cousin's son...my cousin rebuilt the wooden seats in it and the transom for the motor so it will live on lots longer....my cousin passed it to his son and then my cousin went to the great fishing spot in the sky.....sadly cancer took him few years ago....

What a nice father/daughter day. My son has a boat and he loves fishing. He now takes his son who will soon be four. My grandson gets so excited and he has caught some fish.

Glad you had fun. I thought I liked fishing until one day I decided that I hated catching and cleaning them. What I really liked was sitting by the water. So now, I dispense with the tackle and just take a chair and bug spray. LOL!

DS, I just have to say that if I did not love my friends here on DS I would be gone in a heart beat! I am at my wits end of losing posts! It seems like the Gateway thing seems to be a you problem. How can we fix it? I always make sure that I am online and signed in before I hit send.Welcoming any suggestions other than the ones that I recieved before.
