I have both general anxiety and social anxiety. I take medication, and most of my general anxiety has been alleviated. But I still have lots of social anxiety. I get extremely nervous and uncomfortable at work, to the point where I can't speak at a loud enough volume for my bosses to hear me. It's very frustrating. I want to be able to network and make bonds with people, but it's difficult and I have struggled with it my whole life.
I also get anxious about asking people to hang out one-on-one. I am super-introverted, but I don't *actually* like being alone all the time... I want to get closer to my friends and hang out. My anxiety prevents me from doing this. I'd love any suggestions to fight these anxieties.
