Sorry to say that the only way to stop it is with practice and confidence. Don't put so much pressure on yourself =) maybe say something like "oh god, I'm blushing, feeling a bit warm, but...(insert what you want to say)" - that way it's out there and you don't have to keep focusing on it.
Dunno what the physical reason behind it is though. It's weird.

just remember that you are only responsible for HALF of the conversation and if your in a group of 3 a third and so on.. so your putting more pressure on yourself then needed... I think if you focused on that when talking in a group it could slow down the blushing... it cant stop it because its a natural reaction to the pressure.. but it can be controlled if your conscious of your thoughts... and dont let them overwhelm you ..
I hate it more than anything.
