@ jjcathcar: I agree...I do have extreme fatigue, with SJS, and hypothyroidism, chronic pacreatitis, so maybe sugar does give a lift.(Not very much, lol).But I'm having extremeily high lipids due to the hypothyroidism, (wchich also causes fatigue) and worry it's affecting the heart...so that's another concern I'm in the process of trying to get them down by leveling out my thyroid wiith levothyroxine. If this doesn't work I'lll start cloleserol lowering drugs. But, it makes sense about the cravings for sweets.
@Diane: Thanks for your reply also...I also wonder if the taste buds are affected, as they are associated with the salivary galnds somehow, just not sure how exactly. :)
