Sorry if this goes on a bit.

18months ago I began having issues with numbness and tingling in my hands, it spread to my feet and then burning patches randomly all over the place. It gradually became more painful, joint pain increasing, then started having dry eyes about 8 months ago, and a dry mouth. I have had lots of mri's blood tests nerve studies all normal apart from raised liver enzymes for last 5 months. My eyes have got much worse in the last month with my eyelids flaky and sore also. I also am having stomach pain daily. My nose is also very dry and I have had sinus pain for the last 6 or 7 months

Looking back I also started having indegestion/ heartburn about 2 years ago.
Also 10 years ago I had a parotid tumour and had a parotidectomy
My neurologist says I have small fibre neuropathy and that he will keep looking for the cause of this as if it is autoimmune it may take time to show in blood tests.

I have just been diagnosed with Sjogren's. From what I've read your symptoms fit the symptoms of Sjogren's. I would suggest you see a rheumatologist and have a blood test to look specifically for Sjogren's. I hopeyou find some relief soon.

Over the past 20 years I have had recurrent sinus issues, sore throats and bronchitis. Thank goodness the bronchitis has seemed to calm down over the past four or five years. Four years ago I was diagnosed with blepharitis, with dryness of the eyes, and eyelids, occasional loss of eyelashes, and then had a problem with dry mouth. Recently have had heartburn/indigestion and seeming to have a problem with chipping of my back teeth/fillings deteriorating/cracking. In the last three years I have had a continuously irritated throat and hoarseness, trouble swallowing and no real cause found except for being sinus related. A few days ago I had a swelling in my neck and throat and was seen at my doctor's office. Had parotid swelling on both sides and glands swollen in my neck and some thyroid fullness. CBC and TSH tests were negative. This got me researching on Internet. I worked as a medical transcriptionist for 24 years and knew about Sjogren's but in researching sounds much like my symptoms. Hope this will lead me to be referred to a rheumatologist. Sorry I have gone on about this but very frustrating thinking something was going on but never having it put together. Hope I will get some help soon.
