Sjogren's syndrome is an autoimmune disorder in which immune cells attack and destroy the exocrine glands that produce tears and saliva. It also associated with rheumatic disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, and it is rheumatoid factor positive in 90 percent of cases.
So my tests came in Scl70+, SSA+, SSB+. For the last few weeks I had reading in my internet researching that if Sjogrens was found with another antibody the Sjogren's would be secondary. But this article says just the opposite and appears fairly definitive. "Sjgren's syndrome is associated with and not secondary to systemic sclerosis" And it predicts my other negative test results and aligns better with my physical symptoms than Scleroderma sine.

The bottom line is that even if they do confirm Sjogren's, treatment is still symptom management and usually some sort of disease modifier. If the doctor is unwilling or unable to do that, you need to find someone else.
