Pill Glide

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it on this site yet, but I stumbled upon a great product called "Pill Glide Swallowing Spray". If you have trouble swallowing pills like I do this is a big help. You spray it a couple of times on the back of your throat and then swallow your pill with water. The pill will slide right down. I can't take large pills so I don't even attempt them. But I still have trouble with medium sized pills like an Extra Strength Tylenol Gel Cap. Now they are no problem at all for me. The only drawback is that I need to spray it for each pill and if you take a lot of pills at once like I do, that is a lot of spraying. But I highly recommend it. I got it at a CVS right next to the pharmacy. It comes in grape and strawberry flavors. I've only tried the grape and it tastes fairly decent.

Wow, nice find my son cannot swallow pills. Sam the man!

I can swallow a bowling ball ...always could. I used to take vitamin packs all at once like 7 pills. Now I need a good gulp of water first then no problemo.

I take four vitamin D , my probiotics capsule, 1 krill oil, two plaquenil every morning all at one time. If I get really dry a swig of olive oil has worked in the past.

Tom, you swallow all that at once?! I have trouble with one Tylenol Gel Cap. That used to be one of the easiest caplets for me to swallow, but as time has gone on it's even a problem for me now. But this product really does what it says it can. I still don't try it with large pills though (I cut them up into small pieces) since I ended up in the ER once with a pill stuck on my throat. Also the Pill Glide stimulates saliva for me which is a bonus.

Yeah, pill swallowing is mental. As a kid I could swallow them fine. I used to train a lot and pill packs were my normal routine vitamins and amino acids usually 7 in a pack.

Stick to gel caps they melt even if they get caught. I just hope I can always swallow ok. Seems everytime someone mentions something a month later I have it.

I've had gel caps get stuck before I just wait'em out. But if they affect your gag reflex , thats a choke situation.
