kidney damage

does anybody know if SJOGREN'S can affect the kidney, and if so, how? I appreciate an info on this.

I have Nephrotic Syndrome - Minimal Change Disease that my doctors think was caused by my Sjogrens. I was diagnosed last fall when my legs swelled up and was told my Kidneys were in distress. I have been in treatment for it since then and just relapsed. I am getting ready to start a new treatment- acthar - next week.

I also have siogrens and it was my understanding whereever the gland is sjogrens might attack and dry it up. And I thought it can attack anywhere in the body.

I have swollen feet I was considering doing a kidney cleanse with the products from Dr. Schultz. If anyone has had experience with any cleanse, I would be interested in hearing.

I have mild kidney damage and have to use 2 diuretics and potassium every day. If I don't use the diuretics, I really don't urinate very much. But My Kidney function is really just a little worse than normal right now. I was told that for me it is a good idea to drink a lot to keep my urine dilute to keep the kidneys happy, I am not sure if it is the same for every one.
