wore the heart monitor halter for 24 hours . dx with arrhythmias - non serious.
He also said the amount of coffee I drink would not really make a difference so I am having the occasional one again
He also said it was nothing to do with SS so who knows?
I don't have to see him again which is good..
I found that I had to take caffiene out of my diet completely. No cokes,coffee, teas or anything at all. The slightest bit could make it worse.
It's not dangerous-- just annoying.
I'm on a beta blocker and that usually controls it but sometimes it still occurs.
It's worse the week before my period and before I have an autoimmune flare. On the meds my heart rate stays in the 60's, but when the palpitations flare it goes into the 100's.
Try to make sure you're getting the right amount of water, and stay away from stimulants and caffeine.
When it happens, I lay on my left side, make sure I'm hydrated and try to ride it out.
