Sjogren's syndrome is an autoimmune disorder in which immune cells attack and destroy the exocrine glands that produce tears and saliva. It also associated with rheumatic disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, and it is rheumatoid factor positive in 90 percent of cases.

Thanks for posting this information. I'm pretty sure it won't be coming to Arkansas in my lifetime but I will forward the link to my opthalmologist. Maybe he can be trained to say something other than "wash your eyes with baby shampoo".

I found a site with lots of feedback , mostly very good.

This WILL be here and MUCH, MUCH cheaper also mostly covered by insurance. This is the first FDA approval for us since restasis. This isn't a for sure thing depending on how long the glands have been dormant and how much damage has been done.
Hence the intial checkup......some should have the procedure , some should not.
I've been at this for 17 yrs.......so mine are probably DOA.
