Yeah, I can identify with you...the more attention you get, the more that you want...its like a fucking drug...take the drug away and you start going through withdrawal...you need it...you want it...and without it you start to feel bad about yourself again...but with the attention you feel so incredibly good about yourself....

well the attentions nice most of the time but im a confident person so i dont need it to make me happy or feel wanted!

I'm horribly self-conscious, so it's nice to hear compliments...I don't know how to take them though. haha.

Oh yeah we gave it a name "ATTENTION WHORE", it seems the more I get the more I want even when it starts to complicate my life. My brain is like STOP!! But my libido is like HELL NO!!!!! And since my libido always wins I just ride it out til the end. I don't know what to do if I don't have someone who wants me, makes me feel empty, and I always need to be filled up!, lol

I am very insecure and need to be complimented and wanted, guess you could say I'm an "attention whore" too. lol

i love it too... but as many compliments as you get that voice in my head is always louder and it's always saying "THEY'RE LYING!" and as odd as it sounds i'm better off not getting compliments so i never hear that voice.

Not me, I am afraid if I let people get too close to me one of two things will happen: 1) I will get too attached too quickly only get abandoned/rejected or 2) they might find out how fucked up I really am and do number 1. Growing up I never took compliments gracefully and now when I feel like I could use one or two, I am too numb to really feel its effect, you know the fuzzy warm feelings that come with a little attention/praise.

I am overweight, I am bipolar, I have fibromyalgia, and psoriasis I just wonder what is wrong with the guys who did not find me to repulsive to sleep with
