America has -technically- the best health care infrastructure that one country could dream of. There is one big flaw, though: the de-humanization of the system. The ACA may have provided insurance for many who did not have it. But it did not provide any clause that would force your employer to let you go to the doctor without discounting you the hours you spend at the doctor's office.
Somebody must read this and -please- answer (but, please, with a logical answer!) Why on earth do I have to get my phone spammed with calls from my Health Insurance company, only because I haven't been able to skip work to go waste time at my doctor's office? Because all what my doctor is going to do is assign me a portfolio of tests and labs (that I can't afford and are not all paid by the ACA), and put me into a stressful position with my boss, who doesn't want to pay for the time I spend at the doctor. And my salary is already ridiculous. That is why I qualified for the ACA.
There must be someone with ADHD in all this scenario, and it is not me. Legally, you cannot force nor compel anyone to go to the doctor. That is a personal decision. They cannot ignore my explanation either. But they insist that I must call their system "during normal business hours". What part of "I am working and//or in a ridiculously long commute during normal business hours in a job that does not allow phone calls" is the one that they do not understand? What part of "If I don't work, I cannot even pay the premium" is so confusing that they continue to call at my home phone? I tried calling at my own time and their system rejected my call. I wrote to them and they have totally ignored my message about the annoying calls, and continue to call at my home phone, spamming with their stupid messages. Must I involve my Senator, my Rep, the President, the Governor...etc. for a solution? C'mon, people, someone -please- come up with a sensible solution to this ridiculously stupid situation!
