GROUP FOR LOSS OF SISTERS AND BROTHERS
vader
I want to thank everyone who responeded to my column. My late mother should see me now. They told me that I wasnt capable of doing a column, but I have proved them wrong. It is 1 0 clock in the afternoon in seattle and everything is calm.Brad is sober and he has promised me never to drink again.Since 1962,I have been studying astrology and I waited until I was 40 to pursue it.My late father and grandfather did not believe and I was taught by the late Doc Anderson.I also do the Tarot Cards and I am not like these flaky people you see on tv.And when people tell me these are of the devil..I let them talk.Long before Christianity was founded..there were a group of women in ancient England who ruled. They were a secret society. They were Druids and they had all these magick things.I found out that someone in my family was a Druid.I do not know who..but remember this..noone knows where Christmas started but in ancient England...if you read..even Merlin had a tree.I do not put up a tree nor do I exchange gifts. It is only Brad and me and the cats and I cannot afford it.I am saving for 2009--because this will be a great year.On October 5th,2009..I will be 62 and I cannot wait! Being 62 will be one of the greatest challenges in my life and I have made two decisions..I will not leave Brad and I wont go into senior housing.I love the community where I live and I have 3 buses up the street to take me down town and where I live..there is always something and tonight there is going to be a free concert. In 1965 at the age of 17,I brought a record that I am in the process of getting again. It was only 19.cents then and it was by Bob Dylan. The song Submederittan Homesick Blues was a song that helped me in the senior year and then I had Joan Baez-We shall overcome. And to all of these conservatives idiots who say everything started in 1960s ...please bite your tongue and mind your business. You are in your 20s and you were not alive yet! DO not blame me for your problems at all.It is your fault that all of your are in debt.I never had credit problems in my life and I gave up my credit card.I have got everything that I need and I have got no regrets..but I am still in great pain because I still miss my father and I will never forget him. When people tell me that they dont miss their father, I cringe.I pity them. Some fathers of today are real asses..mine wasnt.I will give you an example on just how great he was.In the 1950s there was a television show called The HoneyMooners. In it started Jackie Gleason and all of it was done live and I heard in 1959 that he was going to be on Broadway. The name of the show was Take Me Along and Jackie was the star.Jackie Gleason was also the highest paid star on tv in 1959.Jackie was paid 5,000.00 and that was a mere fortune. And my father on my 12th birthday and when he came home.He surprized me.And I saw Jackie Gleason and I will tell you this..These people who ha ve a chip on their shoulders do not realize this..Some people reach their potential at an early age. Some people reached their potential in high school and in fact the high school years were the most achieving one. Some reach it when they are in their 20s.And a doctor was on tv here and he said this..That a person develops their whole personality not in their 20s or 30s.The doctor said that you do not really come of age until you are in your 40s or 50s.And people who are shy can develop then and develop a new life as I did at 48.Remember-all try to be nice and accomdenating as well.I had to tell everyone about the upcoming reunion and the memory of that 12th birthday and to pay homage to a man that I just cant forget.Vader.
