On 8/1/09..it will be 5 years since I lost my beloved brother. So much has happened and he was right about Brad..but now I am faced with a cross-road.This is Franks Legacy.I promised this to Frank..but when is the time to say goodbye? I dont mean goodbye forever..but I mean goodbye. This means you accept the death about a death.I havent spoken about Frank in such al ong time.I have got a memorial candle on my bureau that Brad gave me for easter.I hold his picture every day and the other day I cried..but does anything thing i am going too far? My late grandfather lived to be 97.He died of a stroke. He worked until he was 85.He didnt have althemizers.he could remember things back 55 years ago..but i visited him in the hosptial for the last time in 1983.He looked gaut.He knew it was time and he loved me.I was the first granddaughter which is like an honour in an Italian family. He sat on his bed and said this"Vader..I made this tape for you.I want you to remember me.I want you to remember all of the good times. You will have a much better retirement then me and you will see changes that I will never see.But vader..here is apiece of advice...Enjoy your life.Life is for the living..but vader it is just so hard to make friends after you are 60.I wish that I was more outgoing and had more interests then the garden and house.I didnt expect your grandmother to die so suddenly....Vader it is lonely in that house.I am so lonely.Noone comes over and i feel so neglected." Then I asked him...did i neglect you? "Of course not." and then he extended his hand to me and I knew he was saying goodbye. When I came home from the hospital..I threw up all over the house..I just couldnt take it..and with this...I said goodbye.I have only listened to the tape once..but it is so hard for me to say goodbye. And you know something my late grandfather was right.it is so hard to make friends after 60...so hard and I,vader am alone.I have been alone since 1955 and I am truly alone...and i will never forget my brother and the wonderful times we had...
