Arts & Crafts help me to get through the tough days,
I live in a long term hospital.
They help us with groups to do arts & I find it takes my mind off of what is happening to me & my friends here
it also helps me to decorate my room to make it more cheery

I'm glad that it helps you. I'm hoping it will help take my mind off my pain as well. I think it can be a powerful thing if we really focus on it.

I am an artist I have tried Manley of the arts but stopped my oil painting when I went into depreshion and now that I am doing better and one of my best friends in here has gotten me back to my arts things are looking up .....it is very good. For us to be creative .......Kaye's I am very happy to see your art is helping you ...Paula I am sure it can help ypu as well you just have to find out what interests you ................throught out the years my art has realy been a blessing to me so I can't weight to get back into it again ...take care. I wish you all the best with you decorating art is such a great outlet for anyone but especially those that are sick or shut in . I know it is great therapy for me . I am glad there are groups like this around .

That is wonderful. Yes thank goodness for crafts, it helps so many...I am another one that art helps.:)
