Sexuality Community Group

Hi. This group is basically made because the only sexuality group happens to be focused on teen issues and I wanted to make one for older people. I'm under 20 myself but I'm hoping this will kick off. Everyone welcome. Just don't be a creeper and be nice.

So I came out as a Lesbian when I was 14. I'm 17 right now and I'm starting to rethink everything. I still have crushes on girls and have girlfriends, but in the back of my head I think there could be more. I feel like when I get older maybe I would want a boyfriend, but it scares me to think that. I've come out to all my friends and family so I think if thats the case I will have to tell them, and then they'll think I'm a liar or something. I don't really know what to do...

First of all, don't worry so much about what other people think. It's human nature to judge and therefore, no matter what you do or say someone will judge you whether silently or out loud. As you get older and gain more experience you'll naturally start to care less and less about what people think of you and more and more about what makes you happy :)
Also, as for your preferences, all I can say is that your growing. Your learning about who you are and what you like and don't like. Don't be so hard on your self. It's okay if you like females today and then males tomorrow. Your family may not see you as a liar but more so as someone that's confused and not sure of what you want. Honestly though, that's expected of teens so no worries ;)
I would go with the flow on this. Eventually as you go with the flow along with time, experience and maturity youll figure out what that one preference is you like. That could be male, female or both!
Either way, it's okay :)
