Sexless Marriage Community Group
This group is for those people who find themselves married to a partner who has little or no interest in having a sexual relationship. This can be very painful for the other partner and leave them feeling rejected, unloved and unwanted. This is a group to provide support for this very painful and very private issue.
I don’t have any advice, but I do understand. Are you still with him or did you leave? I would imagine you feel bamboozled by your husband. Sex is extremely important in having a healthy relationship. IMHO, it’s the deepest connection we can have with our spouses. It not only makes us feel closer to them, but also like we have a partner to face the world. Sex helps us to be more patient with them. More understanding. Not to mention it helps us to feel better about ourselves. Stronger. More capable. Before marriage, my spouse and I even discussed and agreed on how crucial sex was in a relationship. So, I have an idea where you’re coming from with the importance of sex to you, having a sex life previously with your spouse, and contemplating staying in the marriage. It’s frustrating and depressing when they refuse to even try to work on our sex life. To me, its almost more painful to express my hurt and desire for a connection with my spouse, and they completely disregard my feelings and pain.
As for vanilla, oh yeah I have had vanilla with a past partner. Very unfulfilling for me, but I’d go back to that over my sexless marriage.
Hopefully you are doing well and are happier!
He should see a doctor to find out if something physical is affecting his libido.
I hate to say it, but with you being so young, moving on may be what you'll Have to do. I know it’s a hard thing to do, but you need to take care of you and be happy. I wish you the best in your future.
