He is now on some sort of supplement (I think) and is pretty much back to normal. So hang on...there may be hope.. if he is willing to check it out.

In our case, there was a bit more to it. Now hubby is content (physically and emotionally shut down. I tried that for awhile...it is no way to live and I wound up angry and resentful)

Sometimes I wish I was the one with the vanishing Libido it seems like that would be less painful. I am sad that your situation may come to divorce. That's even more painful especially if you're still in love with your husband. I pray that you find happiness love and peace no matter what your decision is.

Do you go to the doctor with him? You could ask him to bring up that since starting the medication sex drive is in the toilet. The doctor may change his script or prescribe something else to help. Its not an uncommon problem, and doctors won't know about the side effects and can not do anything about it unless they are told. Hope it works out and things get better.

I just joined today. I am a male who is 59, been married to the same woman for going on 30 years. My wife has breast cancer that went to the bone. She has brittle bones and a hip replacement and is in pain most days. I love her but she doesn't want anything to do with sex. When I try to make a joke about her touching me she laughs it off. She seems to only think of herself when she knows I have needs. I speak to her about it and she will at least get me off but I have to ask every time. I am tired of that. If I tell her the problem she may for a couple of weeks initiate the hand job but then it is back to normal. I needed this to at least get it off my chest. I do not want to seem selfish either. I do most chores around the house while still work. I know her disease is serious but I do need some physical attention.
