Sexless Marriage Community Group
This group is for those people who find themselves married to a partner who has little or no interest in having a sexual relationship. This can be very painful for the other partner and leave them feeling rejected, unloved and unwanted. This is a group to provide support for this very painful and very private issue.
In answer to your question..... Yes women want sex too. What I have learned is that this has no simple guidelines. There are many of us from 20s to 70s .... Both male and female who happened to hook up to another who would either have health issues or for one reason or another..just no longer want or need sex.
It is frustrating as hell for us as we start to wonder what's wrong with us.
If you have a new baby that could be why she steers clear right now. I would say if it were me I would need to at least tell her how it makes me feel.
With my late hubby it would ultimately do no.good. But for me taking that first step to speak up did help me.
You are way too young to be stuck. In a sexless relationship.
Hugs, Kim
What I meant to say was that this issue is even more difficult when you are younger because you do have a healthier strong libido..
My hope is that you may be able to try counseling or at least let her know you are concerned about her. And how this does make you feel. We all need to touch, feel, connect and communicate. We are human.
You are in my. Thoughts and prayers
You are right, being younger makes it hard.
I am thinking she knows all too well she has you hook, line and sinker. You wanna be a good dad and good hubby. But you too deserve to find things that you also do want/ crave.
Now what?
I was a victim of long term abuse mainly in the form of criticism and neglect. This sounds similar.
You do deserve better and to be happy. Rather than stay stuck and have the anger and resentment build, maybe start to really think about what YOU want and need. You can still be a part of your child's life but maybe break away from her (if that is what you do want)
Hugs, Kim
Could she have suffered some sort of abuse or emotional or physical trauma. before you were together? This could have alot to do with why someone does not want any affection , sex and shies away from any possible physical contact. Has she ever mentioned anything or could you gently bring it up? If that is the case, If someone does go through something like that, unless they are able to open up and talk with someone (counselor, therapist...) it will only get worse.
