Best of luck to you as you enter a new phase in your life. It had to be extremely difficult for you and it shows how strong you are. Having that confidence back and the depression gone has to be an awesome feeling! Congrats!

Good for you, i wish that i could find the strength to leave. it hurts to think that i might spend the rest of my life in this empty vacuum living with a stranger who i despise.

Thank you all for all the good wishes.i have to admit it wasnt easy to first make the desicion to leave. That choice was msde in oct 2015. But making that desision was easier than actually leaving. I finally left in may of 2019. 4 and a half YEARS after i decided to leave.

For anyone trying to choose wether or not to stay i give you this advice:

Choose yourself. Love yourself. Respect yourself. Once youve acomplished that then the choice to stay or go will come naturally, because you'll finally be doing whats right for YOU.

P.s. once i decided to start loving myself and not caring what my ex thought or did my self esteem rose significantly. And as a happy coincidence my dress size shrank from a 16 in 2015 to a current s/m (US sizes)
-just thought id add an additional incentive of self love for anyone struggling with depression and the weight gain that commonly accompanies like mine did

Oh, and did i mention... ive had more sex in the last year than i had in the past 10 with my ex! It really is shocking how easily atainable sex can be if youre willing to look for it lol
