Sexless Marriage Community Group
This group is for those people who find themselves married to a partner who has little or no interest in having a sexual relationship. This can be very painful for the other partner and leave them feeling rejected, unloved and unwanted. This is a group to provide support for this very painful and very private issue.
Take your life back. Stop focusing on a relationship that's dragging you down and start focusing on your own wellbeing. When I began doing this my life really changed. I meet people that I like, I do things that make me feel good about myself. And the unexpected perk is that, apparently, I've become attractive to women because I get a fair bit of attention. For a long time I didn't feel that was possible.
Just because you're not ready for divorce doesn't mean that you can't get yourself together and feel that you will be ok if the time comes.
Good luck. I joined this group a few years ago when I was right where you are. Since then we've been living apart for over a year and I'm getting the forms together for a divorce. It's been very gentile, thankfully, as we're close friends and have learned to communicate better than ever. Funny how that is... I think a big part of this is that we never really had our own lives. Everything was tangled together and was kinda claustrophobic. We learned more about what a healthy relationship is the last year apart than we did in decades of marriage. Go figure.
I'm going to keep working on ME, once I feel I'm stabile and I made the best ME I can then she can decide if I'm good enough for her. If I am not, then I know I did everything I could and YOU WILL NEVER CHANGE OTHER PEOPLE and they should not be responsible for your happiness. If they don't get inspired to change when you are doing it and they won't take the "talks" seriously then I'll have no choice but to leave.
In everyday life, I know this is untrue. Im confident, successfull and admired.
This one part of my life, brings me to my knees in the dark shame of my own bedroom where no one knows. Except all of you now.
I appreciate your vulnerability.
