Right on bro! Congrats. You're on the road to a new life. Good job for sharing that you viewed a couple images. Without honesty we cannot get well. We have to have people in our lives that we can share openly and honestly with (not all the details to trigger them, but that we struggled). In the scriptures, God tells us to bring our brokenness to him. Great job being so committed to honesty, integrity, and truthfulness. If anybody says that they are without sin then we are a liar. The truth sets us free. The first 40 days is the hardest... get through them and your battle is much easier. I would encourage you that if you have too much sexual energy, fast and pray for a day. When we starve the flesh, we become more spirit led. God speed bro! Keep up the good work. God is doing for you what you could not do for yourself:)

Thank you very much, for your encouragement. It is also good to hear that it may get easier after 40 days. I feell like I've been teetering the last 4 days but with every day is a small victory. I totally admit I can't do this alone, I am a weak person and compulsive as heck that is what got me to this state but I now have discovered through my christian counselor that Jesus is my strong advocate and friend. Amen

You're doing great bro. For me personally it starts getting easier after 30 days but 40 days is a much much better foundation. I encourage you to keep sharing your struggles each day if you can. If you're teetering at all then share what's going on when you're feeling that way (were are you at... work, driving, etc.). If you're thinking about acting out, call a brother up or get on this site and share that. It will greatly diminish the power of it by sharing it in the light. Is there anything adding to the teetering? When you see a trigger are you turning your head within a fraction of a second? We have to reprogram our flesh that it's not going to get everything it wants. It's just like eating sugar or sweets. The flesh wants to eat forever. It's never satisfied so we, in our spirit, start to lead our flesh so it's not getting everything it wants - with God's help of course.

If you're not turning your head quickly or taking 2nd looks? then share that. When you do turn your head, are you asking God for help (in your mind) or are you trying to fight the fight with your own power? God gives grace to the humble but resists the proud. When we are weak, God is strong. I've had downfalls because I was trying to fight the fight with my own power.
