Sex / Pornography Addiction Support Group
Sexual addiction, also sometimes called sexual compulsion, is a form of psychological addiction to sexual intercourse and other sexual behavior.
This is a long time coming but I am tired but being owned by this addiciton. It has caused issues in my marriage, personal life and ministry. I have had succes curbing the actual act of looking at porn (most of the time) but my lustful mind runs rampent and instagram soft-core porn is a reoccuring issue. Here is where I'm done. I'm going to try and log on here most days to see how others are doing and for myself to be encouraged to keep fighting the fight.
I find myself in a very similar position as of late. I have been about 15 days with no porn or masturbation. Prior to that I was coming off of a pretty bad relapse. I had recently been listening to PornFree podcasts and I have realized that a lot of my behavior and compulsive thinking (facebook, google images, twitter, ogling woman in real life) was all edging behaviors that were slowly leading me back to porn. Each time with these behaviors I would be come closer and closer to going back to looking at porn and ultimately decided to look at videos for hours on my kids chromebook devices because my devices are filtered with covenant eyes. This is something I said I would never do, but I did. I am trying to be more honest and transparent with myself and I hope to use this group as a support network to do the same. In reading your message I feel that we are at the same stage of awareness and action and I look forward to hearing from you and others more about your plan and progress.
