OK, my buddy and I fasted together a while back and it made it much easier together. I think it would be very cool to start on the same day, journal our experiences together and see what happens. I would love to have 3 or 4 other people join in and all start on the same day.

Great idea though.

I travel weekly too, I'm Gina figure out how tovdovthe it anyway. I can work remotely so maybe I can dare to love remotly. Let's see. Do something around the house your partner has wanted for a while could be a handiman with specific instructions knocking on the door.

Oh, wait I forgot I can not do the love dare while traveling. I have to ( fill in any excuse here).

I see your point choose, but I am in such point in my recovery that I am re learning to honor my comitments, including the ones I make to myself. There are other things that I can do right now, that I am already commited to, at least for next two
weeks. Unlike you, when your work will always be there, I do get to spend 3 months in summer and 1.5 in winter with my gf. So it would be a better time for us.

On top of that my gf also has a very heavy work load, and I am not sure that it would be a right time for her either.

That being said, I kind of regret posting any comments In this thread because I think my response could discourage others from doing the dare. I do apologize for that, and do think its a great idea, and that it would be great for anybody on this forum. I also think that if you journal about your experience it would help others.

Fair enough, and actually I agree. I bought he book when the movie came out and was no ready then. So I think it is actually wise of you to know how you Need to"take it easy" Thanks for the feedback.... Anyone else up for a 40 day love dare challenge?

Are you going to post the challenges? Money has suddenly gotten VERY tight in our household. I don't think I can splurge on another book.

I am on day 19 and yes it is hard to carry out some of the dares. I believe #18 is to prepare a dinner for your spouse and talk and get to know her/him better.... I am hoping to do that this Sun but it has beeen on hold for a week due to the fact we havent had alone time for a while.

Things will settle down again in a few weeks, I'm sure. I just neglected paying our bills or budgetting for the past month or so... can't imagine why I mighth have gotten so distracted, lol.
