I have never experienced that. I have acted out during a time like you describe, but I didnt get sweaty or so hot it was aplpable... Might be something else? Have you asked him about it?

My husband experienced that for a while, but we believe it was due to the effects of a medcation he was on: Effexor. He was taking it to help with his anxiety/IBS, both of which we only now know are related to the guilt from his acting out. Would anything like this apply to your BF?

I'm assuming your boyfriend is a sex addict. If that is the case, then three ideas come to mind. First, he is masturbating in bed during the time he's alone, before you come to bed. Or two, he is having some kind of an erotic dream or a so-called "wet dream". Do you ever find semen on his pajamas or on the bed clothes? This would be evidence of what I'm talking about. And if this is the case, there really is nothing he can do about it. "Wet dreams" are normal and natural, and totally beyond a man's control.

The third possibility has been alluded to above. The sweating could be related to some medical condition or problem. If neither of the above ideas prove to be correct, I'd have him talk with his personal physician to find what's going on.

Sweating is also a withdrawal symptom. Is he trying to quit alcohol or some other drug?

Miss: I know that alcohol consumption causes my H to do that. When he drinks heavily...which is rarely now...he sweats horribly in his sleep. So, if he has been drinking that may well be the problem. Also, there are some serious medical causes of sweating. If he hasn't been drinking...maybe he should see a doctor.

Thanks for the replies. He doesn't drink and I haven't found anything on the bed other than sweat. I am gong to make him go see a doctor because I am worried it could be heart problems. Thanks for your help and advice everyone..
