You really should seek help with a certified sex addiction therapist and/or attend 12 step meetings for sex addiction. Talking to a trained therapist is so helpful and talking to other men that are struggling and in different stages of recovery is helpful to see you arent alone. The isolation of this addiction is often what leads to relapses. Isolation feeds it hence why everytime you are alone or able to view porn and masturbate you cant think of anything but it. I am not sure if you wife is aware yet, if not rest assured she will find out and it will crush her. It not only causes distrust, hurt but can cause PTSD, the trauma it does to the spouse often leads to years of having to rebuild that damage.
Now that is out of the way, lol, there is hope..so much hope and you are worthy of recovery. My husband is almost 7 years sober, no slips and no recovery. It took about 3 years before i started getting a tiny bit of trust, and some days are still hard..really really hard.

Hi there! So sorry you find yourself in the midst of this. IT can get a hold of you...but please know that you do NOT have to be a slave to this the rest of your life. YOU will need help and support depending on how long and deep you are in on this. It sounds like your heart is ready for change. You will need to educate yourself and the previous poster is right on- it possibly has affected you and does change relationships. I was the one in my own marriage that got addicted early on in my marriage. I knew that I was turning to it at one point...more than my own hubby and was able to stop. Years later I educated myself on the industry...and how brutal it is. Besides it hurting you and your relationships personally...thinking about who you are watching. They are people who are being objectified and used and many of them are not in the industry because they "want " to be. Many have been hurt and abused and used. Anyways..I have a ton of resources if you are interested. You need to find help. Someone who can hold you accountable. Have you sought out counseling yet? Does your wife know yet?

Yes my wife know and it is tough because I have been caught more the. Once and it if frustrating every time. Not being fought but being a slave to this problem. I don’t feel like a good husband. I’ve had this problem since I was ten. My step father was a very sexual man and showed me it and got me addicted and said that it’s normal and what you are suppose to do. I feel like i was set up to fail and I do fail but I can’t blame him. I would love to say he is the cause of my own problems but I’m the one who looks even thou I have a very beautiful wife and she is by my side thru this. It hurts her and that’s what makes it tougher to talk to her about it because that’s the one person you do t want thinking your a monster or a pervert who just can’t figure out how to stop. Just trying to figure out how to break the cycle and win every day
