OK, some of you might remember me from before. I removed myself from this community because I had given up on my husband. But, now I am back because I am leaving him, and I have questions to ask. I need answers in order to heal and move on.
I am wondering if anyone else here has been physically abusive towards their wives/girlfriends when confronted about the porn? My STBX husband Has punched me repeatedly in the head when I found his porn. He has kicked me while I would be cowering on the floor. He has slammed my head repeatedly into the stairs. He has choked me, and threatened to kill me. All of this comes from his porn use.
On Sunday (9-1-07) I found MORE porn. I walked into our bedroom, and there was a porno magazine on the floor!! I picked it up and just started crying. The date/issue was from April 2006. That means that he had been lying to me for over a year about it. This wasn't just some playboy. This was some nasty magazine called "18Eighteen" or something like that.
I tore it up right in front of him, and he threw me into the wall and when I fell from the pain, he began kicking me all over my body. Things calmed down a bit after I left and ran off. Then today he told me he isn't sexually attracted to me and that I am nothing but a little whore.
The things he has said to me hurt so bad. He's told me that I am fat, disgusting, a whore, retarded, ugly, nasty... He told me that I am a waste of life.
He ONLY does this when I confront him about the porn. So, I'm wondering- is anyone else like this? Why can't he see that EVERY SINGLE TIME I find the porn, all of this happens?
Why would he continue to do these things if this is what it leads to?
I am leaving him- I have a moving truck reserved for this weekend. I am not going to be the abused wife of a porn addict any longer.

His anger comes from being caught. this sounds like someone with very poor self-control issues, and he needs to be in jail for it.
If you don't do it for yourself (which you should) do it for the next woman this idiot gets involved with. Save her from the abuse.
Third, to answer your question, he has about as much control over his porn usage as he does his anger. Call the police and leave before it's too late.
