It's late at night; I've had a good day with a lot of enjoyable activities.  And a part of me just wants to add watching porn to the list of things that felt good today.  There is the thought of, "what would make this complete would be porn before I fall asleep."  I almost gave in.  Then I decided to come here instead.  This is a promise to myself and to you guys that I'm not going to do that tonight.  Thanks for reading.

Thanks, everyone! I *aaaaalmost* let you all down and did it anyway but that promise kept me hanging on. Even though I would be the only one who knew, I felt that something in me would be so let down if I gave in. Like this group wouldn't help me anymore, maybe. And I need it, so I'm going to stay honest here. So, I didn't watch any porn. I did get myself worked up but I didn't look at anything, read anything, listen to anything. One more victory! :D

That’s awesome! Take each one and keep building on it. I don’t know if this helps but looking back and realizing I didn’t die from not having what I thought I wanted for my fix. I’m new to this and I’m trying to give back because I’ve taken in a sense of being selfish and hurting my wife to the point that she has recently left me Because of my addiction to sex which came out in the form of using porn to get a dopamine dump under stress or boredom if you know what I mean.

I can totally relate to just wanting a “release” to finish off the day or to oneself to sleep etc. Do you have any tips that you can share in regards to fighting the urge?

    It's National Doughnut Day!Which three would you like? (never mind the calories, fat, or sugar content; just go with what you would pick if none of that mattered and whatever health issues you might have that would keep you from eating one in real life can be cast aside for this exercise as well... have at it!)
