Okay, I will admit that this is hard for me to do.

I have a problem with porn. I have struggled with it for years, and I have often tried to give it up only to go back to it. It has been my secret shame that keeps sucking me back in. I have felt like Frodo Baggins in the movies; always playing with the thing that was doing me harm even though I knew it. Every time I have tried talking to a family member about it, the responce I seem to get is "Oh, its no big deal. I don't really care if you look at porn." (And before anyone asks; no I am not married, and never have been.)

I love God, and I want to have an actual relationship with Him. I feel like reading my Bible, and working on my walk with Christ, is helping some. It is something I still struggle with though, but I know with God's help I can beat this.

What I am looking for now is for some people that can understand what I am going through and to help me out with getting this out of my life. I think this is something that we can all help each other out with.

What is the old saying, no man is an island?

I think it was the apostle Paul who talked abobut struggling with a metaphorical thorn in his side.
