Hey all!
I just found this website and thought I would sign up and hopefully engage with some of you a bit. To be honestly, I've been really lonely and isolated during this time and connecting with people who I can relate too would be really good.
A bit of my background - I'm a 29 year old guy from Australia who is in recovery from a horrible addiction to pornography. While I don't view pornography right now, I felt that joining this site might help aid in the recovery and help me be more accountable if I had some people to check in with on a regular basis (on top of SLAA meetings and the mental health professionals I engage) and as a way to help me with urges and to avoid falling into a relapse during stressful times.

This forum and others I am a part of have been so helpful. It's great to have my psychologist and psychiatrist I might see once every two or three weeks, but being connected to others on a daily basis is so important I think.
