Hi King just saw your post. Here's what stopped mine after decades of it:
Get it out in the open. Tell people you care about. I started with this group. Then a therapist. Then a family member. Honesty not only made me feel more accountable, but more free of compulsion and more directed towards my actual, and more constructive interests.
Put blocking software on my internet that someone has access to. Obvious reasons. I still need to change to one that's specific to porn addiction tho.
Journal.
Therapy.
Use this Support Group.
Find one IRL.
Hope some of this can help. You seem goal directed and willing to put in the effort. I bet you nail it. I know if I had given up unhealthy porn-fantasy-sex compulsion in my youth my life would have gone a good deal better. Keep going it's worth it!

Hi everyone, i'm 28 yrs old & i do have a problem with my porn addiction. I been having this problem since high school in 2009 & I'm kinda scared. At first, I didn't think it was a problem, but now it's getting worst & worst by the second for me. Can anyone please help me?

I have said it here many times that porn sneaks up on you. No one started out saying that “I will be hooked a few years from now. That is my goal.” No sir. We confidently say we just want to take a little peak and we will always be in control. But the truth is, it becomes part of your life little by little until one day you wake up and it is the one controlling you. Consider getting this book called, “Every Man’s Battle,” by Stephen Arterburn. I have recommended it here many times because it has helped me and a number of my friends. It will tell you about what you are dealing with. You need to know this enemy, how it allures you and control you without doing anything because its primary weapon is your desire. Try getting this book now before it gets worse.

Addiction does sneak up on you. Like you I thought no big deal but then mine got worse and worse and went to masterbating to porn and then progressed to using prostitutes. It has taken me along time to say I have an addiction but I do. You are coming to terms with it way sooner the I have, way to go! Keep going and talk openly, be honest with yourself and others. I am learning the hard way that is how to get past this addiction and into the light.
