its important to look at the whole picture to why you relapsed...Hungry? Angry?Lonely? Tired? HALT ..when you start to really look at what happened before you looked at the porn.

Loneliness...

For me the hardest days are when I'm hungover after a night out. Those are hardmode. It's unavoidable sometimes, but it helps reaching out to people and trying to create a social/support network.

Immediately after waking up... It starts that's when I'm tempted to do ...today morning I did it again

Is it just mornings that you have the problem? And yes, I read where you write, when your hung over.

Yes..it happens only in the mornings

so you know its hung over and feeling lonely...so the trick is to stop that trigger. Lots of Sex/porn addicts stop drinking for a while too...

Hey Crowned_eagle. I definitely can relate. The mornings and late nights are worst for me. At those times I feel the most HALT. My biggest weakness is sleepiness and fatigue. It was really easy for me to reach over to my smartphone and act out. I’ve found my willpower to be inconsistent. Therefore, what helped the most for me now and especially early on in recovery was external barriers. For example, my wife and I have a rule that we do not sleep with our devices in the bedroom. Our laptops are located in common areas of the house. My devices have adult content filters on them. I call people and to establish human connection daily. I eat meals and snacks when I need to. I’ve been taking more naps and I’m working on better sleep schedule and sleep hygeine.

I’ve identified where my weaknesses are and construct a network of tools and support around them.

By the way, good job on the 1 month of sobriety. That’s quite an achievement.
