I am so sorry about your losses. I had a mother who sexually abused me. I have struggled with porn off and on all of my life. I did find help with books that talk about the healing of the inner child.

talk to your sponsor, and get full involved in the SA program.

And there is help! But only you can help yourself the most. Only you know what you are hiding. Try getting this book called, “Every Man’s Battle,” by Stephen Arterburn. I have recommended it here many times because it has helped me and a number of my friends. It will tell you about what you are dealing with. Porn not only controls you but literally changes your brain. Educate yourself so that you know how it works and how you can stop it. Read it and show your wife that you have started doing something about it. Go to a nearby church and have a free counseling with the pastor as well to get further help.

Thanks to all that replied. I did mention to my wife that I joined a support group and about the book, which I will be ordering soon. All I could do was tell her about this group and promise to ONCE AGAIN try to stop. I do believe just coming up here and talking about it and reading others problems with it will help. At least now I know I've got some people that understand the struggle and can talk about it freely. Thank you so much!

It will be a continual life long battle to overcome sexual addition. Most days will be great some days will be bad. Keep praying and fighting and find positive outlets to put your energy into.

As long as a person is alive, he can always repent, God loves every human being, yes even you, God watches you struggle and even if you fell to your evil temptation once twice even a million times, god still is proud of you every time you get up the mat, and say no, I will be strong this time, I will not give in to my lust,

LET me give you a 2 tips,

first set a boundary that will block you from accessing porn, there are lots of filters that block porn, DO IT RIGHT AWAY, IF YOU DELAY YOU WILL ALWAYS PUSH IT OFF,

and the second tip is to make yourself a punishment, for example, If I fall through, I will have to pay a certain amount to charity of your choice depending on your budget and how generous you are, or for example if you love a specific sports team, you decide that if you fall through again you won't be able to watch your team this week,
Whatever works for you man!

I can't say my addiction is porn but it's definitely related to fantasizing about sex alot. Sometimes it takes up my whole day and interferes with my desire fory husband . But like any addiction trying to find ways to cope with life and avoid triggers
