I was in control for about three weeks and then I failed ..and I quit trying to stop the urge two months ago and the condition has worsened ever since.Now I feel ashamed I couldn't keep myself under control .I need help.I need someone to keep tabs on me .Anybody who wishes me a good life .please message me.

I wish you a good life Crowned_eagle. Trying to stop in the early days is really hard. That first month is massive. You are an addict and your addict wants to hold on to you. You will only start to make progress when you realise you are helpless and desperate to want something else to be more powerful than your addict.

'White knuckling' it is where many of us start but I got help from a face to face group of people who know what it is like and that got me through the first two months These are really hard from the withdrawal. I needed a program to follow otherwise I would have relapsed again and again.

My program is Sex Addicts Anonymous and it works if you work it. I am now 8 months sober.

I passed two weeks. And my third week is about to be completed. I think I'll pass a month this time. Thank you for the concern
