Hey man, I am going through a similar situation as well. I am also 18 and also have a girlfriend whom I love, however she does not know about my addiction because I have not told her about it, much like I haven’t told anyone about it. I have been struggling with this addiction for about 11 years now and today is when I decided that I need to get help. I don’t really have any advice for you but I just hope you know that you’re not alone and hope that we can both get through this together.

Sorry to hear about this but I’m praying for you guys to be able to break this chain, so you can live your best lives and fulfill your potential in your lives! I have struggled too!

Do you have covenant eyes installed on your software, it prevents porn being accessed but also you have some helping to keep you accountable because they see any logs if you access porn they can speak with you and help you to stay away from this addiction!

Thanks for sharing. I too broke the trust my wife had in me when I got caught out! It nearly destroyed us. I have since put a system in place to try to prevent my use such as never taking my phone to bed, blocking internet access on TV; but also looking at what my life goals are? Where does a porn habit fit in? What kind of man do I want to be etc? It is not a perfect system but I am making progress.

Hi there, I’m sorry you are struggling with your addiction. You aren’t alone. Breaking trust with your partner is something that cannot be taken back. Which is so hard and hurtful on both of you. I’m glad that you’re open to receiving help and support but know that you’re doing it for you and only you. You may be in this for years to come but it will be worth it. One day at a time and if your partner is willing to stay with you through it then understand that she is damaged and her trust has been broken. It’s not easy. She may leave and know that if she does, it’s not easy for her, she’s doing it to heal.

I’m only saying this because I’m in this current situation now, you can read my post. It’s truly heartbreaking but I’m hopeful that my ex can get through this and know that he is still worthy of love and living a life he’s always wanted. I wish you the best of luck, you can do this. Support is everything along with forgiving yourself and staying accountable.

I'm a 26 year old guy from South Africa and I have been battling gay porn, masturbation and lust for nearly 11 years. I've battled anxiety, depression, and fatigue for 15 years.Pretty sure I have Asperger's too. Due to all my problems I'm also unemployed. I got bullied at school, neer fitted in, never had many friends, pretty much a loner. Due to my health problems I've been on the smaller side and can't do much exercise (I also have exercise-induced asthma)I'm more creative and sensitive. I was raised by my mum & still live with her. I have a dysfunctional relationship with my dad, we get along, but he's very controlling & lacks what I actually needed in a father growing up etc... I've always felt inadequate in many ways. I think all these factors played a role in developing SSA. I think the boys / men I wished I was like & wished my father was like turned into SSA as I got older. I've been trying to get out of the shit for the past few months but have failed many times. I finally got around to putting a porn blocker on my phone, need a better one since it blocks the dumbest things - self-help articles, forums, comments etc... containing certain words. My Christian faith is the most important part of my life & I've finally got around to reading my Bible and know for sure that one has to accept Jesus & live a pure and holy life to go to Heaven, you can't continue in your sins. Obviously there are different categories of sin & sexual immorality in any form leads to death and Hell if you don't repent. I've repented in my spirit but keep failing in my flesh. At least I'm not watching explicit stuff now but I still have no self control & end up jerking off to either fantasies, memories of watching gay porn, or non explicit videos. My inner man absolutely hates it. I want to be celibate until marriage. I do want a wife and kids someday & definitely don't think I'd be able to go my entire life without sex in some form - and Holy Matrimony is the only approved form by God so I need to discipline myself and get my body to accept that. Even though I'm mainly SSA, if I met a very pretty girl & we shared our faith, values and interests - it could work out. I've just got to put my SSA and lust in any form to bed. I want to be able to appreciate the beauty of men and women without seeing them as sexual objects for my own personal pleasure. 
I'm hoping to find friends that can check in with me daily & help me get out of this mess. I'll help encourage & support anyone who is battling with porn, masturbation, & lust too. Only through God's help and the help of others going through the same mess / have overcome it, can we overcome it too. 

I'm needing to chat to people every day so I don't relapse for the millionth time.
Fortunately the Holy Spirit moved me to put a porn blocker on my phone but there's still a lot of tempting crap out there & in my head.
I absolutely hate it.
