Hello people.
I'm from anothe country, I don't want to say which one, but it's in Latin America. There're a few or absolutely no forums or channels to talk about this topic. I want to say that I need help. I've been facing this issue since I was 12 years old and now I'm 25. I don't want this in my life, I need support, a family, someone who can help me. I wake or or sleep watching porn. I don't see girls like they really are (merely a human) but as a sexual toy. My girlfriend smells it, she sees that something is wrong with me and I don't want to tell her. My previous girlfriend left me for this reason as well. I want to be a normal person, I want to be free. God, I want to enjoy the life better, not being a dumb parasite or worm. What can I do? I'll try to post here whenever I want to watch porn and see if it helps...
I started going to church. Maybe you can find a support group in a local church near your place and try talking to a priest.
Luckily, I have a great friend here. He's helped me a lot. I confessed to him, that I have this affliction. It was a relief to finally admit to someone that I have this problem.
Second, I started a journal and put down my thoughts. You can even do one here on this site.
It took my mind away whenever it was bad. It helps me focus on something else. I find that like every addiction I've had, focus on something else and let time be on your side.
For me now, it seems to be one battle at a time.
