Trying to stop my online porn habit. its messing with the sex i have with my partner. im very new to this support group stuff but i do want to stop. finding it hard. looking for someone to check in daily with me i can help them to in whatever way i can.

The websites yourbrainrebalanced.com and rebootnation.org both offer "community journaling" formats where you can share your recovery journey with a group of guys who are doing the same thing. I personally find that dailystrength.org gets a bit cumbersome with the "Checking In" threads, but each of the two sites I mentioned are organized to make it easier to keep people posted on your progress and provide help to others.

Have you tried any accountability websites and/or filters, such as Covenant Eyes? Porn can be blocked altogether or you can choose to have your internet usage monitored by a trusted friend. There are several similar accountability sites available as well as free filters such as K9.

I am new here.
I need to hold myself accountable for my addiction and have a check in to help me.
Is this the correct place?
