Sexual addiction, also sometimes called sexual compulsion, is a form of psychological addiction to sexual intercourse and other sexual behavior.
My therapist asked me to recommend the best book for my wife to read about Sa. I will not do this to protect myself from the resentment I will feel If she disregards this advice. But I would be very happy to pass along any suggestions from SOs here to my wife.

The very best one for the spouse i have ever come across was....
"Mending A Shattered Heart"
A guide for partners of sex addicts....By Stephanie Carnes PH.d
It really helped validate that it was okay to feel what i felt, it explained things really well and very much helped me move on in recovery.
Later on i then liked Dr Milton Magness book for couples to move forward in recovery.... can't remember the name off the top of my head.....um
