Hi! I think it's great your trying to get help. I was in your situation a few years back. My husband was also a porn addict for most of our dating and marriage of soon to be 20 years. When I found out I was crushed to find so much evidence. He had even masturbated to pics of ladies at work and my sister when they were just provocatively dressed. He had the pics in his laptop and phone. Through therapy we were able to move on. He confessed he had been molested as a child and that he did not know how to stop. It took about 3 years to fully trust him again. However once communication opened with us our lives got better. I hope you and your wife can get there too.

I am going through the same thing. Overall, I have been using less and less, but my wife is fed up. She now wants a divorce. Praying for you.

Going through this now too. Erased all I have and want to be the best father and husband I can be. I've decided to remove all temptation on my phone as well as I won't keep any password on my phone. I want for my whole family to be able to pick it up at any time and not worry about it. I remember in the past I would be jealously hiding my activity and access to my phone. Quite embarrassing when a family member saw a private pic while showing her a pic. I don't want anymore liabilities on my life whatsoever

Yeah Ready player. I deleted all my temptations and made sure my wife looks through every electronic device to make her feel secure. There's a app called accountable2you. Think you guys should try it

Hey guys first time post here. I’m an in the exact same situation as listed above. My wife has lost all trust in me and is strongly leaning towards divorce. I have installed software on my phone and devices and am currently going into counseling both individual and marital. I honestly don’t know if she will ever trust me again. I pray that one day I can earn her trust back. I really don’t know exactly how to do that though. I want to be done with porn and have been for a number of days now. I never knew how much my porn use was alienating my fiance. It made her feel inadequate, insecure personally and caused her to have low self-esteem. I have put her through a lot. She found out that I was sharing some provocative photos she allowed me to take of her on a chat room. It was a devastating breach of trust. I can't believe my compulsive behavior could do so much damage.

I have been in therapy for 2 months and have made major improvements with staving off porn. We installed netnanny and that has helped build trust but it has been a very difficult road so far.

I believe openness and honesty is the way to recovery, although being honest is something I struggle with since I have had to lie so much about my compulsive porn watching. We have to be honest with ourselves and with our partners. I can't stress that enough.
