Hi Everyone,
Just joined today and I need HELP! I am addicted to pornography and having illicit conversations with women online. I have not cheated on my wife physically, but she sees it as cheating, and I do too now. I have disrespected my marriage, my wife, and my family.
I just don't know where to go or what to do. I am lost, my wife wants to end our marriage, and i'm heartbroken.
I know I'm not the only one. And I know that we can all gain strength from each other. I just want to walk away from it. Forever. And not lose my wife or family.
I was married once. My marriage didn’t make it, there were many things going on between both of us but on my side of the fence porn was one of them. I however, unlike yourself, refused to admit at the time, turn away and look for help. So I commend you on that enormous step, well done. Your on the right path, have you considered asking your local Christian church for help? Going to Christian Counseling? I understand the fear of shame very well of seeking such help. I also understand that fear is just a shadow on the wall, looks big and scary but really is just a small obstruction sitting in front of a light. Turn around walk past it and into the light and there’s no more scary shadow.
