I don't know much in the way of tips/advice, but I've just alienated my girlfriend because of my addiction and I've never felt as alone as I do now. I want to overcome this addiction and I'm here to share the burden. I'm right here beside you.

You've chosen a good place to start by coming to an online community like this one, but we also strongly encourage you to talk to a live person/group who understands and won't judge you. Therapists, 12-step groups, and faith leaders may be a good place to start.
