Yes, it does feel that way. I am anxiously awaiting a text from my lover. I don't know if he can see me today, so I have no idea whether said text will come or not. I am jittery, antsy, preoccupied. Fighting the urge to text him myself. Getting very little done, though there is lots I could be doing. I think that is the worst part. The lack of productivity.
You can go to Twelve Step meetings because they don't push a religion or religious belief. They teach that you need a "Higher Power."
That "Higher Power" is of your own choosing. There is no right or wrong in choosing your higher power. Your higher power may be meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises. It does not have to be the Christian God or a religious God.

My 'OM' is emotionally abusive to me (he is a narcissist) and always has been and I could no more stay away if he beckoned than fly to the moon. He is NOT the person whose text I was waiting for, either. That lover did not text me, but I did speak to the OM later in the day.
