I had to make real changes.
got into the word ("bible")
learned why i was addicted, childhood issues.
Had to learn that what happened in childhood was not my fault.
Had to learn to love myself
had to learn know why i needed porn
had to learn what else I could do instead of porn.
Joined SA.

You probably saw how much company you now have in this support group. We know your struggle!
Me, I've had a full week of Accountability*. Its been sad and painful, but somehow it's also given me more peace of mind and hope than I've ever known.
Btw I'm older than you, and I wish I'd come to where you are years ago! So keep trying to be-and then stay healthier. Alright!

*fyi First off I joined this support group and applied ideas from members here.
I put reporting software and content blocks on my internet.
I've divulged my secret life to my Therapist, parents, and daughter.
I've journaled a lot, and tried to give support to other members.

i have had a struggle with porn for over 20 years. i believe i inherited it from my dad for i ran across his porn stash at and early age

Hi Martino here. I like what MemphisWM says in his post. You have to love yourself. Myself, I'm always working on this

Its as bad as a drug. The high is the same, the feeling it brings is very ingrained in the mind. This is what makes porn addictions so addictive. I take it one day at a time. The best thing we can do is either get married or do it less.
