Hi all, mid-20's, been wanting to quit for half a decade
I've got all the apps for accountability, and I keep turning off all my blockers and going straight to the intense stuff
Going about a fortnight in between, I'm just so sick of it and don't want to ruin my relationship
Just want to occasionally fap to some normal stuff like on Reddit, no more BDSM, its been hard
Am willing to quit it altogether
Please, any help and guidance or ideas
1: I spend more time with my family, try fapping off in front of them, you cant so you don't.
2: I spend time with God, I pray read my bible, and try to find an outlet for all that negative sexual energy. Work out, literally run away from your electronic devices, drive to the shopping center, go to the park, etc...
3: If you have a partner spend more bed/fun time with them. If you relive it with your partner you are more fulfilled and get closer with the women you love.
4: I go to online antiporn programs, SDA ( Sex Addiction Anonymous ), or programs given by my church, I find that Porn Free by Jhon Bevere is a great course, it's completely free as well, just download the messagerX app on your phone and you have a digital library of Christian sermons and anti-porn material.
5: Get a sex toy, it will help you finish quicker and will relieve more negative sexual energy quicker, you get off and have less time to be tempted to look at porn. just don't look at porn and get it over with as quickly as possible.
6: I come here and admit my mistakes and ask for help. Tonight I downloaded an explicit dating game, didn't go all the way but just enough to see sexualized dressed photos.
It's always fun until it ends, like how an alcoholic can drink himself to death or a meth addict can overdose having a good time. I've struggled with this since I got a pron virus on my computer just before I turned 9 and like many others just sunk deeper into the woods. I'll pray for you BetterPanth101, I hope these suggestions help. Like everyone here, we've struggled for years and just need help ending this. God Bless and goodnight.

Just yesterday I fapped with no material at all, just enjoyed the personal and alone time and I felt better than ever, no self hatred.
A toy is a good idea as well, hard to look at porn at the same time
