Hello, I'm not sure how to make one of these or even if this is the right place for this, but I could do with some advice or at least just to get this out.

I've been struggling with porn lately and I'm sure a lot of people here will know that when it comes to porn with more time and exposure leads to more extreme fantasies. Unfortunately these fantasies have become an obsession for me, I got to a point where I was watching it multiple times a day, at night, at work, wherever I could!

I eventually told my girlfriend who being the supportive type told me she is fine with me watching porn and doesn't seem to get that this is actually a problem for me. It's not that I want to watch it all the time, it's that I want to live out my fantasies but real sex never compares to what I see in the videos. The girl I'm with again is very supportive and will try the things I ask of her but it's always half hearted and without the enthusiasm of someone who actually enjoys these things, I end up feeling guilty and can't enjoy myself.

This brings me back to the porn, I actually managed to go a couple months without watching any at all, but like a drug that pays off in larger amounts the longer you abstain, that glorious rebound after waiting so long leaves you feeling hollow, disappointed and even more disconnected from true gratification than before.

Does anyone have any advice about this situation? Do I indeed have an unhealthy relationship with porn where I have to enjoy pornstars suffer what I feel too guilty to inflict on the one I love? I just end up hating myself for not being satisfied with that I have and can't help feeling like I never will be.
