Sexual addiction, also sometimes called sexual compulsion, is a form of psychological addiction to sexual intercourse and other sexual behavior.
I would say I started watching porn during lockdown, leaving school was hard as I really have very very few friends at home(90% of my friends are at school).
I wasn't allowed to leave home due to COVID-19 restrictions and one day I found this online add and it was this adult site, I started watching and I think it was excessive as I would watch like for maybe 2 hrs daily for about 2-3 weeks. I suddenly felt awfull and stopped due to effects of porn I also read online. Am at university now and due to some reason I started watching again last week and this time maybe more than before after about 3 months of being clean. Am trying to stop as it's getting in the way of my semester exam preparation but all in vain. What should I do?
I understand what you're going through. I'm a college student as well. Never told anyone about it. Tried various methods to quit, but to no avail. I am discreetly planning to visit a counsellor. You can try doing the same. A lot of people suggested the same to me. I wish you all the best and if you need anything else, please let me know!
