Sexual addiction, also sometimes called sexual compulsion, is a form of psychological addiction to sexual intercourse and other sexual behavior.
I am a porn addict and also addicted to masturbation. I was exposed to some form films and flicks when I was 10 years old. I undergone a lot of counselling sessions in order that I may be healed in my addiction. Unfortunately, I am still struggling with my addiction. It's hard for me to move on in life due to the occuring addiction that I have. I feel so hopeless with this weakness and I don't know if there's still a remedy that will help me to escape with this miserable situation I am facing.
What's the problem you mentioned it ?
I too went through a lot of counselling and a ton of other stuff too to try to find help with my addiction. Nothing really helped me for more than a couple of weeks...and I really wanted to get better.
In the end, only one thing helped, and not only did it help the addiction, but it also changed the way I see life. Doing the 12 steps has been the thing that helped me. 12 step meetings, though, they were in the list of things that didn't help....until I actually went through the work of the steps.
